Red, Orange and Yellow class enjoy a 'dinosaur stomp'.
Our work on dinosaurs started in January by sharing ‘Saturday night at the Dinosaur Stomp’ by Carol Diggory Shields. After learning lots about dinosaurs including where they lived, what they liked to eat and how big they were we decided to hold our own ‘Dinosaur stomp’ in the school hall. We set to work planning the party. We all made invitations, wrote menus, made dinosaurs masks, baked and decorated dinosaur biscuits to eat and mixed swampwater juice to drink!
At the stomp we did a dinosaur dance and went on a dinosaur hunt where we found an enormous T-Rex! (It was really Mr. Page in a fab costume!) After all that excitement we enjoyed our biscuits and juice. We can’t wait for the next party…………..
